The location is amazing, you are right by the beach! Snorkeling can be done foot steps from your own back yard, just remember to bring your water shoes! The property was perfect for our family of 4, this includes 2 teenage kids. There were at least 4 good boogie boards there, a couple of snorkel masks, we went to Snorkel Bob's and rented more for the rest of us. I think there were 4 beach chairs as well. Very convenient & easy. Such a comfortable space! There was uno & cards in one of the drawers, so we could have family game night after a day at the beach. The kitchen had all your basic cooking utensils, pots, pans, a blender, salt & pepper etc. Easy to communicate with. We would LOVE to return! There are plenty of restaurants not too far away if you don't feel like cooking every night. The food trucks are a 5 minute walk away, you can't miss them on your drive into the property. Highly recommended.

There are not enough superlatives for this property. It's location on the island and within the Mahana property is ideal. The condo is quite lovely with every convenience.
Because of the Covid-19, most sightseeing tours were cancelled.
This became the kind of vacation you would like to take but always try and cram a lot of activities in so you never really slow down and truly relax.
We watched whales from the living room, built sandcastles, played in the surf and took lovely siestas in the ocean breezes. We self isolated and had the most wonderful, relaxing and rejuvenating stay.

The property was located in the perfect area - a great balance between being smack in the center of town, but easy walking distance to Whaler's Village and other central Kaanapali beaches. The key was being on the ground, corner unit - steps from the beachwalk. I walked each morning to Kaanapali beach resort - about 20 minute, beautiful walk along the beachwalk. Then came back, sat on the patio and watched whales play in the ocean from the lanai. Some days we walked to a more central beach, some days we sat right outside on the beach in front of the unit, and some days we sat on the lounge chairs right outside the door. It was perfect.
Bpnnie was awesome - great at responding to any question. My only very small recommendation would be to provide a little more detail on where Mahana is compared to Kaanapali Shores property next door. Arriving after dark was a little tricky locating the right property. Somehow we missed reference to "Mahana" and the maps sent us to the property next door. But really, it was super easy once you figured it out. Just be sure to tell Uber drivers that you are at Mahana property.
The unit is very well stocked, both with kitchen and beach supplies - beach chairs, cooler and plenty of towels.
We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui!

Bonnie was great with communication. Easy to find, great location, great neighborhood close to grocery and restaurants. Right on the beach and next to the beach front boardwalk which will get you all the way to Black Rock, shopping, food, etc. Amazing opportunity to snorkel right in front of the condo, we were there in November but still could see the whales from the living room! Only downside is the rocks on the beach right in front of the condo, but easy walking distance of a few yards to get to other beaches with better swimming access. Overall a great condo, great location and great value for a two bedroom.

We loved staying at the Mahana #119 unit for a full week in June. The fact that the unit was on the southern end ground floor, closest to the beach and boardwalk, was the deciding factor for us. It was so easy to set up chairs on the beach, and yet have the convenience of the condo a 15 second walk away. We did walk further up the beach to enter the ocean for snorkeling, which I would recommend due to the rocky access in front of the building. But that was still unbelievably convenient considering the gorgeous and colorful fish we saw! I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of supplies that were in the unit, I would recommend checking it out before going to the store. We also appreciated the "high end" feel of the unit - great job on all the updates that have obviously been done. Bonnie was professional, responsive and very helpful when we had questions. I would highly recommend staying in this condo.

this unit was more than expected. very very nice and accommodating. a few minor problems that were taken care of immediately. we are very much interested in renting this place again. hopefully next year. bonnie was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend this unit anyone. only four people used this place for our rental so that was very nice. we needed two separate beds in the second bedroom. we do not like having to use a couch for a bed. thank you very much

This was the nicest place we have ever stayed on Maui! Everything was so comfortable, including the very nice living room furniture. This did not feel like a rental condo at all, it is so well taken are of and the location was perfect. We saw whales out front, swam with turtles and the snorkeling was unbelievable out front. We pretty much lived on the lanai and hardly left the condo at all! We can’t wait to come back!

This place was so great that we wish it was a well kept secret that we did not have to share with anybody else. Wishful thinking on our part!
We are a family with two adult children. The large accommodation worked perfect for us and nobody got in anyone's way. The 2 separate bedrooms worked perfect with a king size bed in the master bedroom and two separate beds in the other room. Two full baths was a luxury that really worked out well for us.
The apartment location was ideal. Lots of parking and the apartment is right next door to the boardwalk. The apartment came extremely well stocked with all the items required during our 1 week stay. Lots of towels, dishes, soap, paper, etc. We did not have to go purchase any of the minor items that are typically required during a week stay at an apartment.
Bonnie was extremely helpful with booking the apartment. She also checked up on us at the start of our stay to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks Bonnie.
We hope to be able to come back to this apartment that felt like our home while we were on holiday.

We have stayed in this condo many times, and it’s always wonderful. You can’t beat the views and the ability to walk right out from the patio to the water is amazing. Super convent to shopping and food. I will say we have never been in November, and the surf was high and rough. There were surfers right outside the condo every morning, which was a joy to watch. We however, we Not fans of all the surfers and surfing spectators that would stand right outside our condo everyday, some mornings early enough to wake us with how loud they were, or take up all the chairs on the lawn, as they were not guests of the Aston Mahana. Again, we have never experienced this before, so maybe it was just the time of year. All in all, this is a wonderful condo!

The Hawaiian islands are experiencing very early Winter Storm Waves and Large Surf for the last 2 weeks, this is very unusual, along with kona winds that blow in opposite direction as normal.
We don't usually have any surfing on the beaches fronting North Kaanapali, at this time the storms are bringing great surf and the surfers are enjoying it!
Mahana Security could have been called to manage the Non Guests (surfers and crowds) out in front of the lanai of our unit. I wish I knew, I would have called them my self.
Once again, we do appreciate your feed back, and I am always available to be contacted here on Maui if you have any issues or problems with the condo unit.
I do hope you come back and visit us again, we do appreciate your business.

Our unit was just a few steps from the sand...huge stretch of beach with many hotels and bars. Unit was very nice and well-equipped. Air conditioning in living room and kitchen was inadequate though.

The apartment location was ideal. Lots of parking and the apartment is right next door to the boardwalk. The apartment came extremely well stocked with all the items required during our 1 week stay. Lots of towels, dishes, soap, paper, etc. We did not have to go purchase any of the minor items that are typically required during a week stay at an apartment.
Bonnie was extremely helpful with booking the apartment. She also checked up on us at the start of our stay to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Thanks Bonnie.
We hope to be able to come back to this apartment that felt like our home while we were on holiday.

We have stayed in this condo many times, and it’s always wonderful. You can’t beat the views and the ability to walk right out from the patio to the water is amazing. Super convent to shopping and food. I will say we have never been in November, and the surf was high and rough. There were surfers right outside the condo every morning, which was a joy to watch. We however, we Not fans of all the surfers and surfing spectators that would stand right outside our condo everyday, some mornings early enough to wake us with how loud they were, or take up all the chairs on the lawn, as they were not guests of the Aston Mahana. Again, we have never experienced this before, so maybe it was just the time of year. All in all, this is a wonderful condo!

The Hawaiian islands are experiencing very early Winter Storm Waves and Large Surf for the last 2 weeks, this is very unusual, along with kona winds that blow in opposite direction as normal.
We don't usually have any surfing on the beaches fronting North Kaanapali, at this time the storms are bringing great surf and the surfers are enjoying it!
Mahana Security could have been called to manage the Non Guests (surfers and crowds) out in front of the lanai of our unit. I wish I knew, I would have called them my self.
Once again, we do appreciate your feed back, and I am always available to be contacted here on Maui if you have any issues or problems with the condo unit.

Our unit was just a few steps from the sand...huge stretch of beach with many hotels and bars. Unit was very nice and well-equipped. Air conditioning in living room and kitchen was inadequate though.

The corner unit lots of windows and views.

Mahana is a gem! Its location can not be beat! Since the walkway ends at the Mahana, you feel like you are secluded from the masses of people during the peak seasons! Love, love, love the Mahana and condo 119! Mahalo!
